C.A.TŪ (Combat Application Tourniquet)

 

The C.A.TŪ is a small and lightweight (59 grams) one-handed tourniquet that completely occludes arterial blood flow in an extremity. It also has a Velcro Windlass Strap for further securing of the windlass during patient transport.

Modern military soldiers rely on the C-A-TŪ tourniquet to stop arm or leg blood flow due to injury on the battlefield. 

Its effectiveness as a life-saving instrument for soldiers on the battlefield has played a significant role in improvement of modern warfare combat injury medical care.  Soldiers have come to rely on its compact design and ease of storage It has saved mumerous lives.

C.A.TŪ Tourniquet – Safety Orange

 

For those requiring a high visibility option.

Civilian Emergency Medical Service (EMS) teams now have access to the military tested and approved C-A-TŪ tourniquets for their trauma scene needs. Police personnel as first responders use the C-A-TŪ tourniquet to save lives at accident scenes.

EMT (Emergency & Military Tourniquet)

 

The EMT Tourniquet has been recommended for medical evacuation vehicles and emergency departments.  It is wider than the C.A.T Tourniquet and works using pneumatic pressure.
